Winter is my favourite time of year, always has been. No bugs, no mossies, no snakes. And re your comment about worms being only a step away from a snake! It would have to be one very large step!
Winter is my favourite time of the year to go historical trekking and camping, I love it.

Spring is my favorite season – I love the blooming, the new growth, the emerging of everything from winter’s hibernation. Of course I don’t love the allergies I have to deal with, but that’s what Benadryl is for, right?

I love Winter as well Kristine. But I love Fall the best I love it because of deer season, apple cider, the color change, and the smell of a crisp fall morning.

And while I’m especially partial to fall, there are things I love about all the seasons. And I’m glad that Michigan’s seasons are so diverse in experience and temperature.

I probably like Autumn the best but winter is still ahead of summer. I can put more clothes on in the Winter and continue exploring outdoors. In the summer there is little respite from the heat. I find it funny you feel like the cold gives you permission to stay inside since sometimes air conditioning is the only reason I need in the summer. The most important reason to like the winter…….No ticks and no mosquitoes. That is the only reason I need to love winter. Your Pal the Envirocapitalist

That’s a really good point. I usually think of summer as “my season,” and I’m not sure I notice this “I should be out” stress consciously, but during the cool months I consciously notice its absence.
